     I have been teaching in the Garfield School System for 32 years.  I spent my first 25 years in first grade and the next 5 years in second grade.  I taught first grade 2 years ago, and am happy to be back in second grade again this year.  I really do love my job!  Every year brings new faces and new challenges!  I have no immediate plans to retire!

     I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio, and have attended numerous Universties for Graduate work.  Among those are Kent State University, Ashland University, Fresno State University and Youngstown State University.
