COURSES:
US STUDIES II
U.S. and World Studies II is the second core Social Studies Course. It is specifically designed to conclude Ohio Graduation Test preparation. All topics will be exclusively from the period of the post World War I era to the present. Students will examine the impact of people, places and events primarily but not exclusively from the American perspective.
Expectations:
Students are expected to be in their seats when the bell rings. They are to be prepared for class, with pen, pencil paper and book. Students are expected to treat others as they would like to be treated themselves. Students nee to follow the rules that were given to them at the begining of the school year as they will be enforced in my classroom.
Biography:
7th year of teaching in the James A. Garfield School district, and sixth year of coaching football. 13th overall of coaching high school football. Notable players coached Chris Chambers and Lee Evans. Currently teach US Studies II and prepares students for the OGT exam. Previouly taught Psychology, Sociology, and AP American Government. Graduate of Kent State University and currently pursuing Masters in Athletic Administration.
