AP Bio

AP Bio is a rigorous college based course.  Students are expected to be prepared to learn on their own outside of class.  This class is in preparation for the AP Biology test at the beginning of May.  If the test is taken successfully, then the class can be used for college credit.  Students must have Bio I and Chemistry before signing up for this class or a written permission from Bio I teacher.

Physical Science

Physical Science is a freshman level science course that introduces the student to earth science, physical science, and chemistry.  This is a course with empahasis placed on the objectives of the Ohio Graduation Test.

Bio II

Bio II is a class taken by Juniors and Seniors.  This course covers four main topics:  insects, scientific method, anatomy and physiology.  Students must be prepared to participate in a cat dissection and an insect collection.  Bio I is a prerequisite for Bio II.

Bio I

Students in Bio I focus on living organisms.  The topics include basic science knowledge, cells, organisms, genetics, evolution, and environment.  Bio I is required for all Sophomores.  It is a class used to prepare students for the OGT that will be distributed in March and must be passed in order for students to graduate.
