Math Notebook

Each student should have a three-ring binder. It is advised to keep all assignments, handouts, quizzes, tests, and etc. in this binder. It is a great source to review for tests and allow the student and parent to monitor achievement.

Grading Policy

All assignments are based on a point system.

CPR Policy -- Give another life to any "F" grade on homework, quizzes, and chapter tests.

Correct the paper,Make the paper Perfect, & Return your paper for additional points. If ample work is shown on the paper for correcting the work, points will be added to make the F grade to a D grade.

Welcome to the 8th/7th Grade Pre-Algebra. It is my goal to help you make sense of the mathematics you learn. I want you to make connections and feel relaxed in my classroom. I will do my best to present the information into steps to help you understand how and why math works. It is extremely important that you participate and do your best by practicing the problems assigned. Please feel free to discuss any concerns with me.
