PARENTS:  We now have the capability to accept advanced payment for student lunches through our website.  The payments are facilitated by PayPal.  To cover the fees charged by PayPal, the district charges a $2.00 convenience fee per payment.  Please refer any questions on setting up a PayPal account to PayPal directly.

Why prepay for your child's lunch?  It helps the line move faster and gives the students more time to eat. 

When you prepay, please do so with the online account or by check.  Rather than sending cash, please consider that payment by check serves as your receipt and as a payment identification number for the district.  When prepaying by check, please write your child's name and grade in the memo line.

The James A Garfield School District is in the process of implementing some exciting new technology to give you more direct access to your children's Lunch Box accounts.  

This new technology allows you to use the internet to log on and see what and when your kids have been eating, what their current balances are, and make some notes against their accounts for the manager to see.

Use the following instructions to set up an account with the district to be able to see your child's information and post money into their account. 

1. Send an email to tknauer@mail.garfield.sparcc.org requesting your children's student id numbers.  Please include in the email, your full name and address along with the names of your participants, the school to which they belong, their grade and their age.  We use that information for verification.
2. You will receive a response from the school district with your children's student id numbers.
3. Go to www.garfield.sparcc.org; click on the cafeteria link on the left hand side, then select the lunchbox link.
4. Click on the sign up button; enter your email address, user name and your child's student id number.  [If you have more than one child, you can enter any of the numbers to initially set up the account.  The other children will be entered after your first log-in.]
5. Click on submit
6. Your password will be randomly selected and email to you.
7. Log in and start using the system.
